2020 Lodge Officer Goals

Nathan Redding – Lodge Chief
1. Membership Retention
a. Improve the Extended Elangomat Program
b. Improve communication to new members
c. Send out the Dues mailer
d. Improve communications throughout the Lodge as a whole, as a means of increasing participation throughout the Lodge
 
2. Chapters
a. Work with the Vice Chief of Training. 
b. Create more Chapter Awards for Chapters to gauge their success
c. Reexamine and rewrite the chapter officer duties
d. Increase communication with each chapter by communicating to chapter advisors and officers
 
3. High Adventure Programs & National Events
a. Appoint a High Adventure support staff member
b. Promote OAHA at all events
c. Get more OA members involved in High Adventure excursions
d. Promote use of OAHA scholarship fund
 
4. Camp Promotions
a. Appoint a CMM OA Night support staff member
b. Promote OA through Camp OA Nights
c. Promote Camp Mack Morris at ALL events
d. Establish chapter camp promotion teams
e. Have a write up in the Newsletter about camp
 
​5. Reformed communication
a.    Update LodgeMaster (email addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
b.    Send member rosters to all chapters for updating
c.    Send emails out regularly before any event
d.    Mail out newsletters
e.    Set up a working Lodge website
f.     Set up a working text messaging service
g.     Promote the use of the Lodge’s Facebook page

Will Casteel – Vice Chief of Service

1. Support Lodge Chief and Vision of the Lodge
 
2. Improve attendance at service events.

3. Have work projects laid out in advance..
 
4. To keep the new members involved after Ordeals.
 

Dustin Anderson – Vice Chief of Activities

1. Support Lodge Vision and Lodge Chief’s goals

2. Increase the number of people at lodge functions.

3. To provide quality events.

4. To create new events.

5. To organize lodge events.

George Vandyke-Vice Chief of Training

1.    Support Lodge Vision and Lodge Chief’s goals.

2.    Get training to more people.

3.    Organize events well.

4.    Increase the level of training.


Corey Casteel– Lodge Secretary Correspondence  

​1. Support Lodge Vision and Lodge Chief’s goals

2. Make sure all lodge communication is on time and efficient.

3.  To keep all emails on a schedule for no confusion.


Karsten Meyer– Lodge Secretary Registration 

​1. Support Lodge Vision and Lodge Chief’s goals

2. To advance our lodge to a high performing lodge.

3.  To reach high attendance at events.

4. To provide more service in our communities.

Levi Hamilton– Lodge Historian
 

1. Support Lodge Vision and Lodge Chief’s goals

2. To increase social media awareness and usage.

3. To get more photos of events and promote the lodge online.

4. To use social media and photos to get more representation for the lodge and chapters.
